From Healthcare to Engineering – The Future of Artificial Intelligence

We welcomed İbrahim Ethem Hamamcı, who combined his medical education with computer engineering, conducted research at Microsoft Research, and pursued doctoral studies at ETH Zurich. Our guest shared his decision to pursue engineering while studying medicine and discussed his interdisciplinary career journey. The session explored current applications of artificial intelligence in healthcare, the intersection of medicine and engineering, and emerging technologies expected to shape the future of healthcare.
